Will selected by MSA for British Race Academy Programme
Three years ago the Motor Sports Association, Britain’s governing body for all Motorsport, reaffirmed its commitment to British racing talent by launching two driver training programmes to incorporate all UK racing formulae.
The MSA Race Elite and Race Academy Programmes offer the most promising British racing drivers the opportunity to develop their skills and help them to make the steps to reach the highest levels of motorsport.
As well as working on track performance, engineering skills and technical understanding, the drivers develop the vital additional areas such as physical training, mind coaching, career management, sponsorship generation, promotion and media presentation that complete the all-round package of the modern racing driver.
Following Will’s interview on Friday 27 March at the Motor Sports Association, he was selected by the judges to be one of four drivers in the 2009 MSA British Race Academy programme.
Will commented, “It’s an honour to have been chosen for the MSA Race Academy, I’m sure it will help me achieve my goals in motorsport and I look forward to joining the programme. I’m very grateful to David Brabham and all the judges at the MSA”.
