Will Stevens
Biography
The Surrey based teenager began Karting in 2001, racing at club level in the cadet class. He won his first national title in Cadet in 2003 taking the ABKC Open Championship.
In 2004, Will won three of the four National karting Championships in the UK in the ultra-competitive Rotax Minimax class. This unique achievement also won him the prestigious British Racing Drivers' Club Perpetual Trophy which is awarded to their top junior karter in the UK.
Will followed this up in 2005 with the MSA British Junior Kart Championship, becoming the youngest ever British Junior Champion in the process. Previous winners include current F1 drivers David Coulthard, Anthony Davidson & Indy Car Champ Dan Wheldon.
In 2006, Will added the WSK International Junior Championship, his first European title, over four races in Italy and Belgium.
In 2007, having moved into the senior karting category where he has again been competing against the best international drivers, he has won all three major FIA KF2 titles contested so far. These comprise; the FIA-CIK European Championship, the FIA-CIK Asia Pacific Championship and the International Open Masters Championship. Taking all three titles in one year is a unique achievement in World karting.
In 2008, he will continue to race for the factory TonyKart team but in the KF1 class
